Our goal is to empower every developer to build amazing mobile SO Vector Blogapps but when you do have questions, who better to learn from than your fellow developers? We all know Stack Overflow is one of a few great places to ask questions and sharpen our skills. With the release of the new Stack Overflow Documentation website, sharing your know-how has never been easier!

In this contest, we invite all developers to share their knowledge by creating new documentation topics and examples on the Stack Overflow documentation site! Winners will be randomly selected from valid entries with the chance to pick from one of three prizes:

  • An Apple TV
  • A Microsoft Band
  • A Microsoft Azure IoT Starter Kit

How to Enter

  1. Click “Create a new topic” or “Request Topic“, in one of the following Xamarin tags:



  2. Write documentation for the topic, and submit it for approval (for new topics).
  3. Tweet a link to the topic or draft using the hashtags: #Xamarin and #StackOverflow


All submissions must be made by Monday, August 15 at 12:00pm EST. A valid entry consists of a tweet containing the hashtags #Xamarin AND #StackOverflow, along with a link to the topic or draft on Stack Overflow. Three valid entries will be selected at random to choose from one of three prizes. Entry is limited to one per person, but you can submit as many topics as you like! To be eligible, you must follow @XamarinHQ to enable us to DM you for private follow up. Please allow up to three weeks for us to verify entries and collect shipping information to send your selected prize. There is no purchase necessary to enter the “Stack Overflow Documentation” contest.
