Register for the July Xamarin Seminars

Xaminar Logo

We’re already halfway through the year and July brings two new Xamarin seminars. First up will be Mike Bluestein who is going to guide us through developing MonoTouch applications using the MapKit maps API, followed by Frank Krueger, our very own Xamarin Hero doing a reprise on his MonoSpace 2011 talk. You can see more information on this below:

  • Thursday 12th July 2012 at 11am EDT – Developing iOS Map Applications with C# with Mike Bluestein
This session will show how to use the MapKit framework to incorporate maps in iOS applications developed with C# using MonoTouch. After covering the basics needed to work with maps, we’ll then examine how to develop more immersive map experiences using several features of MapKit, including how to support annotations and overlay graphics.
  • Thursday 26th July 2012 at 11am EDT – Problems and Solutions for Mobile App Developers with Frank Krueger
The Disconnected Internet Device – How do you architect an application that relies on a flaky Internet connection? This talk will cover local caching of models, web caching, server synchronization and UI allowances you need to make to keep the user in control and happy.

Registration is open for the July Xamarin Seminars via GoToWebinar, You’ll get an automated reminder the day before and an hour before the event to make sure you don’t miss a moment.

See you all there,
